Fixes - Tapping a coffee's roaster no longer closes the app. A small number of coffees showed a roaster name with no roaster record behind it, and opening one crashed. - You can reach the bottom of a roaster's coffee list again. On roasters with a lot of coffees the last rows sat below the fold and scrolling never brought them up. - Sign out in Profile was drawn underneath the tab bar, visible but impossible to tap. It works now. - Journal entries open from the Coffee Journey card, the way every other stat in that grid already did. - The Favourite Roasters empty state fills its screen instead of floating.

New: a quick tour the first time you open the app, so you can find search, saving, scanning and the journal without digging. Map pins cluster in busy cities and spread out as you zoom in. The distance slider isn't buried under the tab bar anymore, and your pins survive a trip to a roaster's page and back. Roaster pages now show what a roaster sources: origins, processes and flavours pulled from their lineup. Recommended leans on what you've rated, plus roasters near you if you share your location. Coffees a roaster has stopped selling now say so. Beanie fits an iPad properly, sidebar and all. Plus a warmer palette and a pile of dark mode and layout fixes.

Smarter Coffee Bag Scanning The scan tab has been completely redesigned. You can now add up to four photos of your coffee bag (Front, Back, Side 1, Side 2) so Beanie can extract information from every side. A custom camera skips the "Use Photo" confirmation step and goes straight to a crop tool. The AI now analyses all submitted photos in parallel, not just the front, giving significantly better results. Tap any scanned thumbnail to view it full screen. Taste Profile Beanie now learns your taste preferences from your journal ratings, including liked origins, processes, tasting notes, and roasters, and shows a personalised Taste Profile on your profile page. Favourite Roasters Follow your favourite roasters with a heart button on any roaster profile. Your followed count appears on your profile and taps through to a full list. Profile Coffee Journey Cards The Coffee Journey section now includes Recipes alongside Journal Entries, Average Rating, Favourite Coffees, Favourite Roasters, and Wishlist. Sharing Share any coffee, roaster, or recipe with a canonical link. Recipients are taken directly to the right page in the app, even if they aren't signed in yet. Journal Improvements New body and aftertaste tasting note categories. Journal entry tags now use distinct colours (teal for Recipe, amber for Rating). Fullscreen photo viewing in journal entries.
