I started by using the free website then decided to buy the app and give it a try because their free stuff was so great. Absolutely worth it. The option to play the notes on the guitar while using the mic is amazing. The lessons on music theory are well done as well. Can’t wait to keep unlocking levels. My only complaint is I sometimes had issues with the mic picking up certain notes, mainly lows like E & F. But once I started using the acoustic instead of the electric it worked flawlessly. Well done.

Thank you very much for the review and kind words! Indeed the electric guitar without an amp can be hard for the app to detect due to its volume being lower and ambient noise. Nice Free Option for Fret Practice

Just got the app, and there are no purchases required! App offers note practice along the entire neck with some adaptive learning stuff and stats of your performance (like note heat map - which notes take you longest to figure out). My only feedback is that the app only quizzes you on the natural notes on the neck, no sharps or flats and there is no setting to enable accidentals. However I do think that learning the natural notes first is pretty good regardless.

Learning the fretboard!

Finally found an app that just helps me learn where notes are the fretboard. And it feels like it’s helping me to do my best.
Nice flash card like quiz
NDYNAMICS
It’s worked well for getting me up to speed. Not so good for mastery.It needs a feature where you can drill on notes that are doing poorly in your heat map. I’d like to see it prioritize those notes when doing a full board drill, rather than keep bringing up the notes you’ve already mastered. Throw those in periodically, but the focus should be mastery of your weaknesses once you reach the full board.
