Advanced Goal Tracking Goals have received a major upgrade. You can now set daily, weekly, or monthly goals not just for categories, but also for specific projects and individual activities. Progress is displayed through intuitive red-to-green bars that show exactly how close you are to your targets. Activity goals are now clearly labeled for better clarity, making it easier to track specific efforts like coding or research hours across different projects. Smart Project Management You can now merge two projects into one to fix duplicates or consolidate your work. Simply go to Manage Projects, select the projects you want to combine, and choose which activities to keep. All your time entries are automatically transferred to the new merged project. Additionally, we have introduced smarter archiving. You can now decide if an archived project should still appear in your statistics or be hidden completely, allowing you to keep your list clean while preserving historical data for reporting. Interactive Statistics and Dual Tracking The statistics view is now fully interactive. You can tap any bar in your chart to see a detailed breakdown of your workday by category and project. We have also improved the dual project tracking system. Start your primary project with a tap and add a secondary project with a long-press. You can now assign milestones to specific running projects, and the end card ensures all entries are saved to the correct location. Customization and Quality of Life Make TickTrack truly yours by renaming categories and assigning custom colors to project tiles. These names and colors appear throughout the app, from the project list to your reports. This update also includes project creation dates in the log and silent offline background synchronization. The project management view is now sorted alphabetically and features category icons. For Mac users, we have improved keyboard shortcuts, including using the escape key to cancel milestone entry and command plus A to focus the input field immediately.

WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 1.8 PARALLEL TRACKING We've packed version 1.8 with powerful new features to help you track your time more flexibly than ever before. Parallel Tracking is here! You can now track two projects at the same time by long-pressing on any project. This is perfect for situations like going for a walk while listening to an audiobook - track your Health and Learning categories simultaneously. Both timers run independently, and you can see them all in the header. Tap on either timer pill to stop and log that specific session while the other keeps running. INTERFACE IMPROVEMENTS New Grid View! Switch between the classic list view and a new tile-based grid view for your projects. The grid shows more projects at a glance with large category icons. Toggle between views using the new menu in the toolbar next to the sort options. Your preference is saved automatically. SMARTER STATISTICS Statistics got smarter. Each project now has an Isolate button - tap the eye icon to focus on just that project's data, similar to soloing a track in music production software. Category summaries now appear below the chart showing total time per category for the selected period. We also improved how category filtering works - toggling categories in the stats view now only affects the display, not your category settings. SMOOTHER WORKFLOWS Smoother Activity Switching. When you switch activities within a project or switch to a different project entirely, the app now shows a save confirmation banner at the bottom. Tap it to add milestones or notes to the session you just finished. Everything saves automatically in the background so you never lose data. LOGS AND MANAGEMENT Improved Log History. Milestones now appear prominently at the top of each log entry so you can quickly see what you accomplished. On iPad, you can now tap directly on any entry to edit it - no more hunting for small buttons. The edit sheet opens instantly with a loading indicator for a smoother experience. Better Category Management. When you reactivate a previously disabled category, all its projects automatically become active again. No more manually moving projects out of the Deactivated folder. STABILITY AND OFFLINE SUPPORT Enhanced Offline Support. Delete operations now work reliably even when offline. The app queues your changes and syncs them automatically when your connection returns. We also squashed bugs and improved overall stability. The statistics cache is smarter and handles large amounts of data without issues, even if you track 24/7 with thousands of entries.

TickTrack is now fully compatible with iOS 17, so more of you can join in. Smarter Projects: Projects now automatically expand when you start tracking and collapse when you stop. Prefer the old way? You can toggle this off in Settings under Customizations. Better Feedback: We added haptic feedback and a clear "Time Saved" message when switching activities, so you never have to wonder if your time was captured. Visual Upgrade: Active tasks now glow in their matching Project color instead of generic blue. Performance & Stability: Statistics: The stats page now loads instantly and jumps straight to "Today"—no more scrolling required.
