The old app was replaced with this new version without notifying the users. I found out about it when the old version stopped working properly. The company’s main concern should be to stop aggravating its users and keep the app working as designed in a well designed way. I find new UI layout just okay. There are some new features that I like and I was able to find everything I used in the past version in this version. I think however it requires the same number of clicks or more clicks to make day to day configuration changes. This should have been the number one consideration in the redesign. Also this version does not remember the last setting used. So whenever I start using my hearing aids every morning, instead of just opening the app and having it reconfigure to the last setting of the day before, I have to reselect it everyday, every morning and it’s irritating.

The app does basic functions… and that’s it. Would love to see more directional control, noise cancellation, other advanced settings.

Amplifon has recently launched a new version of its app, replacing the previous iteration without prior notification to users. Many users, including myself, discovered this change when attempting to open the old app, which was no longer functional. After checking the Amplifon website for information, I was directed to a broken link in the App Store. A subsequent search led to the discovery of the newly released app.When trying to pair the new app, I was prompted for Bluetooth access. Despite enabling Bluetooth functionality on my device, the app lacks an option to grant this access within its settings. I hope this issue is fixed soon.

Somewhere along the way the directional controls are gone. That was the best feature of the app
