Recording and transcription are free, unlimited, and run entirely on your iPhone. No account, no uploads. Premium adds sentence-by-sentence translation, also on device.
Record a meeting, a lecture, an interview or a passing idea — and get the text without sending a second of audio to anyone's server.
SpeakSense records, transcribes and organizes entirely on your iPhone. Speech becomes text using your device's own speech models, so there is no account to create, nothing to upload, and no waiting on a connection. Once iOS has installed the language you work in, transcription keeps running in airplane mode.
RECORD
• A live level meter while you record, so you can see you are actually being picked up
• Watch the transcript appear as you speak — or switch it off and transcribe later
• Keep every take: recordings save themselves with a generated title, filed in the category you used last

TRANSCRIBE
• Transcribe any recording, with real progress instead of an endless spinner
• Import audio or video from Files or iCloud Drive and transcribe that too
• Choose your transcription language from the ones your device supports; recent choices stay at the top
• The transcript is fully editable — fix a name or a number in place
• Tap any timestamp to send the audio straight to that sentence
ORGANIZE
• File notes into categories you create, and search across every transcript
• Rename notes, show or hide timestamps, copy a whole transcript at once
• See what your recordings take up and clear space from inside the app
SHARE
• Send the transcript as text, or the original audio file, anywhere iOS can share
• Optional iCloud backup, off by default — and it is your own private iCloud
PREMIUM
Recording and transcription are free and unlimited. A subscription adds:
• Transcript translation — each sentence translated and placed beneath the original, running on device through Apple's translation, so your words are never sent to a translation service. Export the original and the translation together, with timecodes.
• Pro themes for the recording and notes screens
• Support for continued development
PRIVACY
No account. No ads and no advertising identifiers. Your recordings and transcripts stay on your device unless you choose to share them, and translation stays on device as well.
