Record a story in your own voice and turn it into an illustrated storybook or memoir. Make one about your life, your child, or someone you love.
Memoir turns spoken stories into books.
You can use it to save a memory from your own life, make an illustrated storybook about your child, or help a parent or grandparent record a memoir. Those are just a few examples. Start with any story you want to keep.
You do not have to be a writer. Pick a question and talk. Memoir helps turn the recording into a story and a book.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a question
Choose from prompts about childhood, family, school, friendship, everyday adventures, and the moments that shaped a life.
2. Tell the story
Press record and talk the way you normally would. Your own words and voice are where the story starts.
3. Make a book
Make an illustrated storybook from one memory, or collect many stories into a longer memoir.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Record stories instead of typing them
• Work through 10 chapters of memory prompts
• Organize memories by age on a timeline
• Add your own photos
• Create separate profiles for family members
• Turn recordings into illustrated storybooks or memoirs
It can be one funny moment, a story about your child, a memory from years ago, or the beginning of a whole life story. Start with whichever story comes to mind first.
