I love that it is a one time purchase. The app is simple and straight forward. There is a current limit on the number of apps it can block, but that’s more of an Apple limitation (50).I hope the app developer makes an update to block more apps. Here is something I have found about that. Apple limits one ManagedSettings store to 50 app tokens. But Apple allows multiple named ManagedSettings stores simultaneously since iOS 16. So one tag tap triggers your app to activate multiple stores at once programmatically.

This tool really stands to its word. I scroll less and live more now. The day I first used it… I found myself making homemade tomato soup and slowing down. I watched the weather and took my dog out. Time slowed down. It does what I needed it to. Sometimes, the scrolly app takes a second to update accurate times locked/off the phone…but it updates. I wish I could track screen time around specific apps because as a creator I’ll be on my phone a lot so a general screen time manager isn’t as helpful as ‘times off these distracting apps’. I also wish we could use our coins to buy certain real life rewards….50 coins for a movie night, 100 coins for a hike in a new place… instead the coins buy little outfits for the digital scrolly. Overall, I’ve gotten my wife to buy one and we have better weekends when we ‘scroll up’ as we call it. Awesome

It gets to a point when you realize you’re wasting your time online. I didn’t realize how much using this would help. When I feel the need to go click on one of the distracting apps scrolly doesn’t allow me. I keep scrolly away from me which causes me to realize what I’m getting on any of the apps for, majority of the time not for any specific reason. It’s great. Definitely an adjustment but it works.

I was addictively doom scrolling like everyone is. I’d tried other apps to block apps but the key was in the app so I’d always unlock it. Having a cute little vinyl toy in my art studio is so rad. I’ll never take it anywhere so once it’s locked I’m locked out. I love it. Buy this guy and get your life back!
