We’ve added the ability to automatically recover lost data, improved the AI chat so it no longer incorrectly flags non-sensitive phrases, and fixed several OCR scanning issues, including cases where similar parameters were not recognized as the same type and were treated separately.

In this release of VitalDots, we’ve enhanced the mapping of diverse lab parameter names, introduced the ability to manually add new parameters to existing reports, and improved the quality of AI-generated summaries and responses.

In this version of VitalDots, we’ve fixed an issue where lab reports were not getting deleted properly, enhanced security by adding an option to enable Biometric ID, and improved the explanation of how the app works with Apple Health Records syncing to make things clearer for users.

AI processing is designed to run locally using Apple’s foundation model, with safeguards in place to keep your data on device whenever possible. We also fixed an issue where normal ranges from Italian lab reports were not being set correctly, and you can now edit these ranges after scanning if needed. Additionally, we’ve added the ability to hide biological age and made several UI enhancements to improve your overall experience.

In our latest release, you can now import images of your lab reports directly into the app. We’ve also enhanced the camera scan experience - you can zoom into the scanned image to easily compare extracted results with the original report. Additionally, you can now add notes about your doctor visits, and we’ve improved the AI-powered doctor discussion summary. Parameter trend charts now include a short description for each lab parameter to provide better context and understanding.

We’re wrapping up the year with an exciting VitalDots update! This release introduces multiple profiles, making it easy to add and manage lab reports for your entire family in one place. We’ve also added document redaction, so you can hide personal or sensitive information before scanning—enhancing privacy and control. Along with a refreshed UI and bug fixes, you can now edit report dates, use metric or imperial units for height and weight, and enjoy expanded language support including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese. More languages are coming soon!
