After using this App for a while I can tell how inconvenient it is for customers. It can leave you stranded if you have urgent card transactions or recurring/automated payments.1. The App subsequently locks your profile and it takes a lot of communication and pressure to get a new profile. During this period you can’t use your card for online payments. 2. All your automated and recurring subscriptions will always fail because you have to open the App actively before a payment can be made hence it doesn’t work. There’s no option to have your card opened for transactions for up to 24/48 hours so it’s impossible to have such payments go through as you won’t be aware when the merchant will try to debit your card. That’s inconvenient. 3. If you have your App opened so many times while expecting a merchant to debit you the App will block your profile. While Providus bank are trying to protect unauthorized online transactions from customers cards they make it impossible for customers to have the convenience and flexibility of using their cards. This will drive me away from using Providus cards for most transactions as it’s not easy, seamless or great to use.
