The Artificial Intelligence of the Plastic Metric app takes all the measurements from a photo, thereby saving both surgeon’s and patient’s time as there is no more need for physical presence during an appointment for choosing the implants! Anatomical characteristic of the iris, diameter of which is 12.5 mm in every person, gives the neural network a reference distance for calculating all proportions. And you simply: - Take a screenshot of the patient’s photo during the consultation - Adjust the markings of pupils - And arrange the lines in correct order It is important to ensure that the patient is not slouching and keeping her shoulders straight in the picture. Place the anterior axillary lines, marked in red, vertically on the left and right according to patient’s proportions. Draw the lines marked in yellow through the center of areolas. Place the anterior median line, marked in blue, vertically exactly in the center of jugular notch. Cross the anterior midline with two horizontal blue lines, the upper one should pass along the line of the jugular notch and the lower one along the center of the areolas. We would like emphasize that you won’t need to take any additional measurements since the intermammary distance, which is equal to 3 centimeters, is set automatically by the neural network, and the maximum calculation error is only 10%. Please note that moving the lines and dots will lead to recalculation of all sizes. Now everything is ready! Calculations will appear at the bottom of the screen.
