FIFA Rivals is an amazing game with addictive gameplay, and as a high-ranking player I know I’m good. But the reward system really holds the game back. The pack odds are terrible, and if you don’t spend money, your chances of getting a top player are basically nonexistent. It also feels like the game recognizes when you’re skilled but still favors players who spend, almost dismissing you despite your performance. Overall, great gameplay—but the rewards, pack percentages, and fairness need serious improvement.

It's sometimes fun to play when it works (though you're rarely matched against a fair opponent - almost always someone much weaker or stronger than you), but the interface is very, very, very buggy and crashes and freezes a lot. Soon after I bought a premium season pass, the game froze and I lost everything - and Mythical refused to do anything about it, saying it was up to Apple - and Apple refused to refund the pass I'd lost access to. Unless you want to send Mythical money for nothing, be very careful. There are definitely more ethical developers and better-run game companies out there.

Clearly the other reviews on this game haven’t been playing it. This games controls are horrible, the player you want to send on a run will absolutely ignore you as soon as the ball is passed. The ball will go right in front of your players and the player will stare at it as it goes to the feet of an opposing player while the other team shoots from the center of the field and scores top left corner of the goal. There is no reason it should take as long as it does for packs to open just for them to give you horrible players. The goalkeeper will also watch as a ball hits his feet and an opposing player will basically sit in front of the keeper for free goals.

Football Rivals is an exciting card-based football game where you collect players, upgrade them, and use strategy to win matches. The graphics and interface are simple and user-friendly. Online competitions are quite competitive and engaging, although there can sometimes be pressure from in-app purchases. Overall, it’s a great option for football and card game lovers
