I have been using this app as someone with a peanut allergy and it has been great. It is especially helpful when grocery shopping because a lot of food products don't seem like they would have nuts but actually do. Since downloading this app, I have not had another allergic reaction as someone who normally had one a fee times a year.
The cards are amazing!!!

I downloaded this to help make sure my daughter-in-law wouldn’t be exposed to allergic triggers. I completed her “card” that included allergic reaction to all nuts. To test it, I scanned a jar of peanut butter. The app indicated that it was “probably safe”. I then scanned other items that contained nuts or nut products. All of them were reported as “probably safe “. DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP TO KEEP YOU SAFE FROM EXPOSURE TO ALLERGENS.
Developer Response
Thank you for your review.I am sorry to hear you had a poor experience with our app. This information truly helps us improve our features and ensure their reliability with our users. When you created the card, did you select ALL NUTS?When you scanned the barcode, were ingredients outputted or did it return no ingredients?Lastly, what brand of peanut butter did you try on and could you tell us what version of the app you were using? Before the most recent update, there was a bug related to certain items not being detected, but this has been correctly fixed in the most recent update.Thank you very much for your support and we are sorry for your poor experience.
