Bookstry: Book Tracker
Reading log, stats & community
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: a virtual bookshelf with covers and spines, and emoji reactions as you read that others only see once they reach the same page.
Bookstry is a reading tracker: log what you're reading and where you are in it, then see how much you've read on the calendar and in your stats. Along the way, you can read together with friends, without spoilers.
Whether you log every page or only the books you finish, Bookstry fits the way you read.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Track what you read
By page, with a daily check-in or just the books you finish: pick whatever suits you. The timer even shows how long you spent reading.
React as you read
Use an emoji to show how a part of the book made you feel. Your reaction stays at that point in the book, and others see it when they get there.
Buddy reads, no spoilers
Read a book together. Posts and reactions are lined up by page, and anything ahead of you stays hidden until you catch up.
Calendar and stats
Every reading day on the calendar, your month and year in numbers and charts. Set a yearly goal and see how you are doing.
Virtual bookshelf
Your books on a real-looking shelf, with covers and spines, just like at home.
Add books from a photo
Snap your bookshelf, and the books we recognize land on your lists in one go.
Challenges
Monthly challenges with badges. Bookstry checks off the tasks for you as you read.
Lists and series
Built-in lists and your own collections, with every series in order.
Community
Ratings and reviews from readers who have already read the book, with a short summary on the book page. Follow your friends and see what they are reading.
Switch in a few clicks
Coming from another app? Bring over your books, ratings and reading history from Goodreads, StoryGraph, Fable or Bookmory. No need to start from scratch.
Dark mode
Easy on the eyes, and perfect for night owls.
FREE TO USE
Tracking, buddy reads, reactions, challenges, the bookshelf and the community are all free. Bookstry PLUS is for readers who want more:
• a reading profile with your favorite genres and authors, and how you compare with other readers
• a more detailed calendar: intensity, format and page counts on each day
• shelf themes, decorations and sorting by cover color
• a private circle for buddy reads, free to join
• your own reading challenges, free for anyone to join
• more photo scans and more questions about books every day
• a PLUS badge on your profile picture
Note: Bookstry is not an e-book reader. It helps you track, organize and share your reading; you read the book itself from your own copy.
All you need is a good book. Bookstry takes care of the rest. Sign up for free and join the Bookstry community today!
