■ Once everyone's in, pairings build themselves
Enter who showed up and how many courts you have. That's it.
This isn't a random shuffle. The pairings are calculated to be fair.
- Partner history is counted, so you stop drawing the same pair
- Opponents you haven't faced yet are prioritized, moving toward a full round robin
- Sit-outs are spread evenly - everyone waits the same number of times
- The same group never gets stuck sitting out together twice
- Players who have been on court longest get rested first
- Odd numbers work: five players on one court is handled properly
- Have a pair that must stay together? Lock just that pair
Add another round and the history carries over. Round six won't look like round one.
