There are ads so insanely frequently that it’s just about unplayable. And I didn’t even bother buying the no ads gamepass because according to other reviews, it does literally nothing and the ads keep coming. On top of that, there’s a ton of glitches that make it hard to play the game. The most frustrating one for me is when I’m trying to catch a fish and it tries to swim away, but glitches into the wall instead and disappears forever. I’ve had this happen with very rare fish that I was VERY close to catching. It’s infuriating. I typically don’t even write reviews, let alone bad ones. But this really frustrated me. Please fix your game.

Only gave this 5 stars so this review would be put to the top. Buying the remove ad feature does not work, you get a forced ad every time you do anything, and the game plays AUDIO ads nonstop while you play so you literally cannot play the game for even a second without listening to an ad. The Fishercat is a fun game that scratches the same itch while not forcing ads down your throat, and has a super deep gameplay system that I would recommend to anyone who wants this game to be fun but hates the ads and shallow gameplay.

Purchased the no ad feature and then still have ads everywhere and after every catch it’s there and I can’t even get a refund for it and then the game forces me to watch ads for upgrades because it won’t let me progress no matter how many times I restart the game and now all of a sudden I have to use worms and have to watch ads or pay 49 cents for more I know those worms weren’t there when I first got it yesterday and have the screenshots to prove it

DO NOT DOWNLOAD DONT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME IS A PIECE OF TRASH Are we seriously still entertaining wasting our time watching an Ad every 30 seconds in 2026. It seemed like an easy fun game with okay mechanics and progression but there are infinitely better games out there and those games require no Ads. Even just having the option to watch an Ad to get increased rewards would make this game playable. But forcing players to watch Ads and waste their time like this isn’t even just garbage that doesn’t belong in the app store its also terrible game design and disgustingly greedy decision making.
