I was excited on hearing that falling Fred was returning after being delisted from the AppStore, but after being finally able to play the game, I almost immediately felt disappointed. Regular Fred himself isn’t even in the game, the entire character roster has been stripped down to just zombie Fred, the crash test dummy and its new reskin. Thus preventing any and all form of gore from appearing, which I think is just absurd, the whole thing about the falling fred games was about the humorously absurd violence. Going back to the topic of the character designs, the new portraits just look like they were made with A.I. art.And going back to the topic of violence, the only reasons I can think is that 1. This is still under development, or two, for censorship purposes, because of course people who aren’t even effected will get offended by the former leader of a massive terrorist group/mastermind of one of the greatest tragedies in American history getting turned into hamburger helper by a weirdly place saw blade on a residential building.You know who I’m talking about dedalord…

Taking step at the right direction but I kind of want the original falling Fred but I can’t ask too much because they already bring back super falling Fred. But there’s barely any gore on some character, I don’t like the redesigned of Fred and plus he’s more of just a rag doll instead of a more individual skeleton rag doll that can be broken off, they also gave Dummy the voice of Jamie Prince? I like the characters icon but the most of the character were left unchanged so some had gore while other is just straight up rag doll. If you were able to bring super falling Fred back then attempt to bring Falling Fred Z back. NOTE: Any laser obstacle will instantly crash the game for but it could happen for other

I remember having played Falling Fred when I was younger and seeing this got me so excited. But it’s just a rerelease of Super Falling Fred, but with everything much worse. A majority of the UI looks to be AI generated and even though that’s already not a good sign, the two things that make up the entirety of Falling Fred aren’t even here. For one, Fred himself is missing and so is everyone else from the original game (including Super Falling Fred), instead we only get Crash T. Dummy, Zombie Fred, and some other new robot character (that while original is a very ugly AI design made to look “futuristic”). These were probably chosen due to all of them not being real people characters which allows for them to not have to use any blood, which gets to the next big problem of this game. The blood, gore, and amputations themselves have been completely removed from the game. These were what really made up Falling Fred and I’m not sure if it’s Dedalord trying to become “Family Friendly”, but you can’t market a game as being a celebration/revival of Fred while missing everything that really makes his games memorable and unique. I just hope Dedalord listens to all their fans and brings back the original Super Falling Fred/Falling Fred/Falling Fred Z (If we really want to bring up the past). Even if this is due to Apple’s strict policies for apps, it can’t excuse any of the AI being used. Even if Dedalord never comes back to this game (which is likely although I don’t want it), I just want them to know just how much the public dislikes the use of AI and that they use their actual abilities as a company to create assets themselves and not rely on AI or using their fans with false advertising. I was excited For falling Fred Redux to come out because ITS BEEN FOREVER since I played Falling Fred Or super falling falling Fred and the screenshots originally were the original game so I thought it would be the same game. Then I preordered it and when I got it downloaded Everything changed and the Images weren’t the same game and I don’t even think any of the updates were made by a person and now playing it i am disappointed. There are Many missing things that made falling Fred good like HAVING FRED A PLAYABLE CHARACTER and for some reason blood and gore was removed entirely which defeats the whole purpose of a Fred gameYes the crash test dummy and zombie Fred are good characters but not having Fred? Like come on Dedalord!This is not even a “Redux” this is a downgrade from the original Super Falling Fred and all the other falling Fred games.If you have a computer just play the Poki version of the game it has more stuff like blood and gore and you can play ACTUALLY PLAY AS FRED.UPDATE:So New update came out and I played it and it still is weird.You can now play as Fred and the blood Is back but the model for Fred is Very Uncanny and it still has ai images At least there is an improvement but it’s still not as good as the other Fred games.
