However when we stepped back and took an overview of a longer period of time we could start to see possible triggers and we were able to help support him. This record keeping can also help in another way. Sometimes it can be very discouraging and can get you down if you feel you don't see your child progress, and we have been there too, however having records like this can aid in looking back and seeing how over longer periods progress has been made in either some of your child's learning and growth or in ways that they are able to deal with situations around them.
