New map: Parroo now draws its own map from OpenStreetMap data – with the same pins, number badges and tap-to-zoom as before. Search by name: type a city or a sight and jump straight there – a sight opens its info card right away. If Parroo doesn't have a place yet, the search still finds it on the map – and you can suggest it with one tap. Plus small fixes, an up-to-date privacy text and it's all super faster now and stuff :)

A better audio player. • Lock-screen controls: play, pause and seek without opening the app. Headphone buttons work too. • Playback speed: 1×, 1.25× or 1.5×. Your choice stays set for the next place. • The map loads places more reliably, also while you pan. We've added 130+ new cities and 2900+ new points of interest across Germany and France. More places to walk and listen. Photos from Wikimedia now show their credit and licence.

New in this version: a "Walk there" button on every place. Open a place you're reading or listening about, tap "Walk there," and a walking route to that exact spot opens in your maps app. Your audio keeps playing while you walk, so you can listen on the way. Same researched audio and articles as always. Now it's one tap to get there too.

This version adds an optional in-app rating prompt. It only appears after someone has already explored several places in Parroo, so it does not interrupt the first experience. This update also includes small improvements and preparation for the refreshed App Store pages.
