AuraID — ID Photos, Made Your Way
From a visa application to a student ID or work badge, make a clear, natural ID photo on your phone. AuraID combines smart framing, precise background removal and high-resolution output, so you can work to the required size and refine the details yourself.
Take a photo or choose one from your library. Select a size for automatic background removal and framing, then fine-tune the result. No ads interrupt your work.
► Your size, your composition
Find a wide choice of passport, visa and ID presets, including 2×2 inches. Search by name, purpose or size, and save favorites. Green card and DV lottery applications each have their own photo rules; check them before editing.
For other specifications, set the width and height in mm, cm, inches or pixels. Enter decimal physical dimensions with automatic unit conversion, or exact pixel dimensions. Swap width and height for portrait, landscape or square photos.
Smart framing uses the selected format to balance head size, eye position and space above the head. You can then fine-tune the portrait's position, size and angle.
► Clean backgrounds, a natural finish
AI background removal refines hair and clothing edges and reduces traces of the old background. Choose white, blue, red or a custom color, using the picker or a HEX code. Recent custom colors are kept for reuse. Gradients are available for work portraits and profile photos where permitted.
Retouching is manual: adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, temperature, highlights and shadows. Smooth or lighten skin, brighten skin tone, soften dark circles and refine eyebrows or lip color. Slim the face, reduce its size or adjust the hairline where suitable. Preview changes and preserve your natural features; use only edits your application allows.
► Digital files and sheets to print
Save JPEG photos at 300 or 600 DPI. At the same physical size, 600 DPI produces more pixels; actual detail depends on the source. For exact pixel requirements, enter width and height in pixels and choose 300 DPI to keep those dimensions. Check the output size before saving.
Arrange multiple photos automatically on 10 paper sizes, including 4×6 inches, 5×7 inches and Letter. Save the 300 DPI layout to print at home or take to a photo shop. The saved photo uses your confirmed framing and adjustments.
► Give an existing ID photo another use
Need a different background or a new application size? Use the separate tools without starting again:
• Replace the background while keeping the original dimensions and composition.
• Crop and resize while keeping the existing background.
• Set a target KB size for compression, optionally reducing resolution; the result shows the actual file size.
• Convert between JPG and PNG. Check final dimensions, format and file size before submitting.
► Personal photos, processed on your device
Face detection, background removal, color adjustments, retouching and final image creation happen on your device. Your photos do not need to be uploaded for processing. Photo editing also works offline.
Choose a portrait at your own pace, for your own ID photo, a child's school enrollment or a family member's staff badge.
For US passports, use an unedited original. Do not retouch your appearance or digitally replace the background. Check the final photo against your application's rules; the issuing authority decides acceptance.
