• ItemIQ now goes by ItemIQ: Reseller Inventory on the App Store. Same app, same login.

6.20.4 Oct 22
• Optional app analytics: choose whether to share app usage to help us improve ItemIQ. It stays off unless you allow it, and you can change it anytime in Profile > Settings.

• CheckCheck: an item is no longer marked authenticated when the result comes back as not authentic.
• Bug fixes and performance improvements.
6.20.3 Oct 21
Warehouse Audit is here.
• Audit your shelves from your phone: scan a rack label to start, then scan every item on it. Each item is checked instantly — live, ready to list, missing a cost or photos, sold, or unknown — and you're told exactly where it goes.
• Work as a team: each shelf locks to whoever is scanning it, and the board updates live for everyone, on phones and on the web.
• See the value of what you've verified, what's missing, and what's ready to list.
• Works with the camera or a Bluetooth barcode scanner.
SKU Location improvements
• Opens instantly and stays in sync with your other devices within seconds.
• Item titles and photos on every row, and large locations scroll smoothly.
• Sold items can't be put back on a rack by mistake, and counts now flag missing items instead of removing them.
Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.
6.20.0 Oct 9
Faster item intake with Quick SKU:
• Skip Details: scan a barcode, snap the photos, and the item uploads on its own — then you're straight onto the next one.
• Barcode and text scanners sit right beside Quick SKU, so you can start from a scan.
• Reading a SKU from a label with text scan is more reliable.
• A simpler "Create an Item" help page explains each way to start.
• Items sold elsewhere now show as sold.
6.19.8 Oct 6
• Items sold on a marketplace now show as sold, with where they sold.
• Item edits record who made them.
• Fixes and performance improvements.
6.19.6 Oct 3

• Clearer credit balance on your profile.
• Fixes and performance improvements.
6.19.3 Sep 29
Bug fixes:
- Quick SKU no longer keeps retrying background removal when a photo cannot be processed. Your original photo is kept and you can continue.
- More reliable background-removal error messages.
6.19.1 Sep 17
New: Enhance. One tap removes the background, corrects the lighting and adds a natural shadow to a product photo. Find it on any item's photos, on the capture screen next to Remove Background, and as an "Enhance Photos" setting for Quick SKU so every new item is enhanced automatically.
New: Auto-reload for credits. Buy a pack with auto-reload switched on and we'll top up your balance automatically whenever it runs low.
Fixes: the Pro Image Editor loads photos again; editing a photo no longer overwrites the wrong image; claimed items show their photos; Quick SKU no longer flags new items as overwrites; and several sign-in and status errors on app open are gone.
6.19.0 Sep 15
• Exports now include Sold Out, Sold At and Shipped columns, so sold items are easy to tell apart in your spreadsheet.
• Email verification: verify your address from your Profile to join an organization and use email-based features.
• Camera: background-removal credits are checked before saving. If you're out of credits, your original photos are saved and you're told.
• Background removal, AI analysis, comps, voice and authentication requests now run through ItemIQ's servers for speed and security.
• Authentication orders are priced and confirmed server-side; redemption codes apply instantly.
• Lost SKU photo matching is more reliable.
• Stability and security improvements.
6.18.43 Sep 12
Filter the catalog by availability, a smarter brand picker, more accurate Lost SKU photo search, and reliability improvements behind the scenes.
6.18.35 Sep 2
• Add your own brands — type any brand name when uploading or editing an item, instead of choosing from a fixed list
• Quick SKU: new optional Brand field while capturing, and it stays filled as you capture a batch of items
• The brand picker now includes your organization's own brands for one-tap reuse
• Brand corrections now update your catalog's brand groupings right away
6.18.33 Aug 19
• Smoother photo viewing — pinch zoom now follows your fingers precisely, with natural momentum when you swipe
• Faster batch photography — the delay between Quick SKU Plus captures is gone
• Quieter feedback — success messages appear as brief banners instead of pop-ups you have to dismiss
• Search your History by product title
• Paste SKU lists straight into a rack or bin, and export a container's SKUs
• Manual brand entries now take priority in filters and exports
• Scanner screen now fits smaller iPhones
6.18.30 Aug 16
• Brand filters are now more accurate: brands you've entered manually always take priority over AI-detected ones across History, My Items, and Exports
• Cleaner brand lists — fewer duplicate AI-generated brand name variations
• Bug fixes and performance improvements
6.18.24 Aug 10
• Upload from library: use photos already on your phone in every capture
mode — Quick SKU, Plus, Comps Check, Ask IIQ, and CheckCheck.
• Editable SKUs: photograph now and attach the real barcode later. Type,
scan, or AI-read a handwritten tag, and the item's photos, details, and
warehouse placement follow.
• Compact layout tier for iPhone SE and 6s-class screens.
• TikTok bulk exports fill every required column again, so Seller Center
accepts them.
6.18.13 Aug 4
SKU Location — a warehouse map you build by scanning
Find any item
Scan a product barcode to see the exact rack, location, zone, and site
it's sitting in — or just search the SKU from the browse screen.
Four scan workflows
• Stock rack — scan a rack, then scan each item onto it
• Item to rack — scan an item, then the rack it goes on
• Location to rack — scan or pick a spot, then park a rack there
• Rack to location — scan a rack, then where you just moved it
Setup happens as you scan
Locations and racks register themselves the first time you scan their
barcode. Give it a display name and it's live — no spreadsheet to prepare
and no setup screen to fill in before your first item.
Organize by Site and Zone
Group locations into zones and zones into sites, so a second room, a back
building, or an offsite unit maps to how you actually store things.
Browse and manage
Walk sites, zones, locations, racks, and items, with photos and listing
titles pulled in on demand. Zones list everything they hold in a
two-column grid you can collapse when you want the overview back. Move
items between racks, park racks at new locations, and pull items off a
rack right from the list. One search box covers sites, zones, locations,
racks, and SKUs at once.
Audit trail
Recent activity logs every move, and each item records who set its
location and when.
Handwritten SKUs
Switch the scanner between barcode and handwritten capture and point it
at a hand-marked tag — it reads the SKU for you. Reads are more reliable
this release, and scanned SKUs now match your inventory exactly instead
of accepting near misses.
A better scanner
Every scanner screen shows the same item banner: what you're holding and
what to do next. Tap any photo to enlarge it, switch between inventory
views with the new Items tabs and two-column layout, pick a location by
hand when scanning isn't practical, and step back through screens without
losing your place.
CheckCheck and Real Authentication
• Pending submissions now sync to the correct product folder
• Requests and orders show listing titles and SKUs, so you can tell
items apart at a glance
• Items waiting on more images are flagged Photos Needed, and the new
Add Photos flow lets you shoot or pick images and send them with a
note to the authenticator
Inventory sync
Importing your SALES tab now marks matching items sold on the item record
itself, so product pages show sold status directly. Sales removed from
the sheet clear it again on the next run.

What's New in 6.17.3
A simpler way to start. New users now land on a Starter home screen focused on the essentials: check comps with a photo, scan a SKU, snap and catalog an item, or ask AI for item details — each one tap from the camera.
Choose your Home layout. Use the picker in the top corner to switch between Starter (the basics), Hosts (tuned for live-show hosting — formerly "Simple"), and Full (every tool). Your choice is remembered.
Comp Check handwritten SKU tags. Comp Check by SKU now scans barcodes or handwritten SKU tags — tap the written-tag button and AI reads the tag for you.
Your brand front and center. Members of an organization now see their organization's logo on the Home screen instead of the ItemIQ logo.
Polish. Starter buttons now size to fill your screen, and comp checks from Starter and Hosts skip straight to results for faster pricing on a single item.
6.17.3 Jul 24
Ready-to-paste "What's New" draft
• New Simple/Full Home view: switch between a streamlined layout (big Ask and Comp Check buttons front and center) and the full classic dashboard — perfect for fast, single-item lookups on the floor.
• Comp Check by Image and Comp Check by SKU: instantly find what similar items are selling for, either by snapping a photo or scanning/entering a SKU — no need to create a full listing first.
• Pinch-to-zoom on comp results, just like a web page, so you can inspect listing photos up close.
• Faster, more accurate comp results: tighter USD price matching, outlier-aware averages, and a cleaner price-tile grid view.
• Custom Export: build your own CSV export templates with flexible field mapping for the marketplaces and tools you use.
