Camera & Recording Fixes * 60 FPS recording now works: * The camera now picks a video format that truly supports your selected frame rate. * If your device can’t reach the selected rate, it automatically uses the closest supported one. * Camera Zoom setting (0.5x / 1x / 2x) now actually applies—switching between ultra-wide and wide cameras instantly. * Sharper video on Medium and Low quality—footage is now captured at true 720p/480p instead of being upscaled. Other Changes * Fixed saved videos being duplicated—stopping and saving a recording now saves it once. * “Delete All” in the Account tab now also removes the app’s saved recordings from your Photo Library (clips are still preserved). * “Open Videos Folder” now opens the RoadsEye folder directly in the Files app. * Fixed recordings saving in the wrong orientation when the device was rotated. * Videos save to your Photo Library more reliably and much faster. * Recording now recovers properly if the video writer runs into an error mid-recording. * Auto Record threshold changes now apply immediately (no app restart needed). * Fixed “Done” buttons in the info pages not closing the page. * Fixed purchases/renewals not being detected after leaving the premium page. * Major under-the-hood cleanup for smoother performance and stability.

Overhaul Update * Revamped Recording: * Recording and saving now happen automatically once you start. * Choose between clip length or maximum storage limits before older footage is overwritten. * The Clip button (scissors icon) saves immediately and will not be overwritten. * Crash Detection is unaffected—it will always save recordings regardless of storage limits, and those clips should not be overwritten. Fix * Resolved an issue where cached video data was not being fully cleared when launching the app. The app now attempts to remove all cache files on startup. Note: due to iOS system behavior, some older cached files may persist if they were stored in protected directories. Note on Storage Usage:
To view the storage usage for Road’s Eye, go to:
Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Road’s Eye (scroll or search).
Frequent use of Road’s Eye may result in a high “Documents & Data” amount. If you want to reduce this, select Offload App from the same menu, then reinstall it. This process typically removes cached data, including older files that normal deletion cannot clear. However, depending on how iOS handled certain cache directories, some residual data may still remain.

New Features: * Overlay Always Active: On by default. When enabled, the driving overlay will always be visible during recording (Driving Overlay Mode must be enabled). You can still tap the screen to temporarily hide the overlay. * Created simple tutorial on how to use Road's Eye.
