Greekly is now Niko Times! Same Niko, same daily news that teaches you a language — with a fresh new look. • New name, icon and design • Sign in once with Apple, Google or email so your progress is always backed up — existing users will be asked after the update • Your subscription now reliably follows your account • Fixes for audio, offline sync and tapping words next to quotes

• Your news is now a daily paper — assembled for your interests, in Greek you can handle • Articles open instantly; quizzes prepare quietly in the background • Fixed: some subscribers saw the trial screen at every launch. Pro now shows correctly everywhere — thank you to the reader who reported it

• Notifications now arrive with story images • The paper follows your reading — a story you’ve spent time with is marked read, and reading from the kiosk counts toward your day • Improvements and fixes under the hood

• Getting started is smoother — your first article lets you continue after saving just two words • The feed now marks stories read only when you say so — and they swipe away neatly • Improvements and fixes under the hood

Under-the-hood improvements to reliability and performance.

Bug fixes

First impressions matter, so we rebuilt ours. - NEW welcome flow — we actually walk you in now, hand you your first word, and get out of the way. No more staring at a blank screen wondering what this app even does. - Words that talk back — pronunciation on practice cards is now free, and the new voices sound like real people instead of a robot reading a ransom note. - Smarter stories — an AI editor picks the best read in each channel instead of just the newest, and beginners get shorter, gentler versions. Learning Greek shouldn't feel like homework on day one. - Streaks worth showing off — new animations, because hitting day one deserves more than a tiny number in the corner. - Dark theme, round two — even more screens went dark, so your 2am study sessions stay glare-free. - Faster, cleaner, less annoying — tidier Settings, fixed overlaps, and a few speed bumps we quietly paved over. You're welcome.

Big update. Like, "we should probably charge more" big. • NEW Words tab — every word you've ever learned, all in one place. Yes, even the ones you swore you'd remember and then absolutely didn't. • Audio flashcards — practice your words and actually hear them, because Greek pronunciation is not a guessing game. • Smart study reminders — we'll nudge you when words are due for review. Gently. Like a friend, not like your gym app. • Word guide — tap any word while reading and get the full story on it. • Better feed — world, science and sports news, so you can learn Greek from stuff you'd read anyway. • Share your progress — earned bragging rights are meant to be used. • Dark theme polish — your 2am study sessions no longer require sunglasses. • Bug fixes — we squashed things you never noticed. You're welcome.
