You open an app without thinking. Impulse gets in the way: move to unlock it, or start a focus session and keep distractions out. You open Instagram to check one thing. Half an hour later, you are still there. Sitting still. Your thumb working while your body switches off. Impulse gets in the way. Choose the apps that pull you in and decide when to block them. When you try to open one, Impulse asks for a short action before giving you a few minutes of access. YOU CHOOSE THE TOLL • Walk 100 steps. • Do squats or push-ups. • Complete a mindful pause. • Choose whatever fits the moment. You do not need another promise to “use your phone less.” You need opening it to stop being automatic. FOCUS SESSIONS Start a session for as long as you choose. Selected apps stay blocked while you work, and the countdown remains visible on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with Live Activities. You can also start and end sessions using Shortcuts and Siri. WITH IMPULSE, YOU CAN • Schedule blocking hours. • Choose protected apps and categories. • Unlock them for a limited time. • Turn the urge to open an app into movement or breathing. • Review steps, exercise, standing time, and unlock history. • Connect your activity with Health.
