It’s relaxing, satisfying, and somehow manages to be the perfect “I’ll play for five minutes” game that magically becomes an hour. The progression feels rewarding, the art is charming, and it’s one of those rare mobile games I genuinely look forward to opening every day.But here’s why I’m taking the time to write this:I accidentally managed to lose my progress (through my own spectacular talent for pressing the wrong thing). I was convinced hundreds of hours of gameplay had vanished forever. I contacted support hoping for a miracle… and somehow, they delivered one.The support team was kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. They actually investigated my issue, communicated with me, and restored my account. In an era where customer support often feels automated or dismissive, this team reminded me what great customer service looks like.A great game is one thing. A great team behind the game is something else entirely.If you’re wondering whether to download Yarn Fever, do it. You’ll get an addictive, cozy game—and if you ever need help, you’ll discover it’s backed by people who genuinely care about their players.Five stars without hesitation. I think it’s really stupid to only allow people to be able to watch 5 free ads per day to get rewards, especially when you have to use them to get through all the hard levels and then it’s like you can’t play the game anymore until the next day.Also, I have another problem with this game that I want to mention. So I like to listen to podcasts while I play mobile games, and the ads that are unmutable ruin it. But what I usually do when this happens on other apps is I’ll close the app and start again so maybe I’ll get another ad that can be muted. But apparently when you do that on this app, you lose a life and when you lose (I think five?) lives you can’t play anymore for a certain amount of time. Between that and the issue I mentioned above, it feels like the developers don’t even want you to play their game which I won’t anymore because I’ve tried out other yarn unravel-type games, and because of the those major issues this is the most poorly designed app of this type that I have ever tried by far. Basically this app is hot garbage and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ll uninstall and stop playing like y’all apparently want me to lol.

The game would’ve been nice if it weren’t for the ads that just keep going around in a circle and won’t let you leave them. I’ve actually lost levels because an ad interrupted. But the thing that really irritates me is watching the same ad over and over and over in the loop. But what did it for me? What made me decide to delete this game was an Experian ad that I left to run its course while I went and did other things in the time that that ad had ran, I had filled my mother’s. Lemonade cup, cleaned and changed the litter box, taken a bag out to the dumpster, and went to the bathroom to use it and wash my hands. The ad was still going. I’m gonna be real honest here and this is a personal opinion. No one has to agree with it but if you can’t get your point across in 20-30 seconds or less in an ad, you have already failed to sell your product no one wants to see the same ad 30 times in a row. I shouldn’t go and do house chores and then come back in. My game is still running the ad that I left it on y’all need to balance your ad to game ratio cause that’s ridiculous.

I love this game! It seems they have listened to previous reviews and tried fixing the issues. There is an add after each level is complete but can skip after a few seconds. The glitching still happens occasionally but I haven’t had it click randomly as others have stated. One thing I don’t understand is that you have spare spots for yarn but once you fill the last spot you automatically lose. I don’t understand why it allows you 5 spots but once you use the last one you lose. It would make more sense to me if you can utilize the last spot and play until no other moves are available. (For example if you need a yellow but it’s covered by red and you put red in the last spare spot you automatically lose instead of being able to play the yellow and continue the game) I hope my explanation makes sense. I still love the game but that gets annoying.
