I’ve played over 2000 levels so I feel like I can give an insightful review. The game play is fun, it’s a simple way to relax and unwind. The key is to find the path needed through the blocks that will pull colors as you need them. Sometimes it takes a few tries to figure that out, but once you’ve done that you’re good. There are levels of varying difficulty and if you fail the level you have the option of paying $5 USD to continue. Here is where I’ve lost my interest. Previously, if you bought that package, you received 2000 coins, the ability to continue playing that level without starting over, and 4 bonus tools. You received the glove which lets you pick any cube to play it without having a clear path to it, the hammer which lets you remove a block from the board, the arrows which lets you mix up the cubes you play from - hopefully pulling the one you need closer, and finally, you would get the expansion which gives you a larger bar and therefore more cubes in play. Within the last month or so, they’ve changed that package. Instead of four tools, you now get three. For the same price. This change has made me no longer want to play, and I used to play daily. It feels like middle finger to the player who is spending money on this product. It seems like a small thing I admit, but to take away something for no reason other than to make the game harder and increase the need to spend in order to advance? No thanks, I will find something else to play that doesn’t feel like a rip off.
Thank you for your detailed and insightful feedback after playing over 2000 levels. We truly value the dedication of our long-time players. We are very sorry to hear that the change to the continuation package has disappointed you and affected your enjoyment of the game. Our goal is never to make our players feel unappreciated. We will share your comments regarding the package tools and value directly with our design team to re-evaluate this balance in future versions. We hope you will consider giving the game another chance in its upcoming releases.
