This game is insanely fun and addictive…but the long intro and guest hosts, who take 20 minutes to finish the game are killing the fun. When the game starts it’s fine if there is 10 minutes of fun and shout outs but then once the game starts we just want to play and focus on the game and not listen to randoms spew stuff we don’t care about. Like intro yes fine. Play the game and then announce winners. We don’t care about guest hosts struggles solving the puzzles. Scott’s great and is super smart and beating him is what makes it fun. We loved him on HQ and his personality is what people love. Just stick to the formula that made it successful in the first place.

i like the idea, and the host/owner is charasmatic, even if the show is 75% him monologuing and 25% gameplay some nights. my man issues are as follows:1: the host, Scott, makes a lot of suggestive comments or innuendos. this doesn’t bother me, but because of it the chat goes too far, and there doesn’t appear to be any mods for the chat. when i played last night, there was a female co-host, and i saw several gross comments being made about her, including one that said, “bet she’s tight.” as a female, it made me feel bad for her that there isn’t someone on the team trying to make sure that she and other women in the chat don’t feel objectified. the game has a real boys club feel to it at the moment.2: the app is quite buggy. i can understand a little lag, but there have been several games that i have played in which the round will start, and i will see other people getting it solved in the chat, but the puzzle won’t show up for me until the round is already halfway over. 3: the prizes you win expire after 30 days. this past week there have been between 2,000-3,000 winners per night, and they only give out six prizes per night. essentially unless you’re really lucky, you’ll never have more than 30 days worth of prize money saved up at one time. they either should extend the prize expiration period, or should give out more hammers per night.it’s freshly out of beta so i’m going to keep playing for a bit, but it will need a little fine tuning before it feels like a game i’d like to be a part of for a long time.

The game itself is fun but other issues make it hard to want to stick around. I loved Scott in his HQ years and since this app is his creation, I was thrilled to play. The game is fun, although the scoring needs a lot of work. And the chat is horrendous. No moderation and straight up feels like the worst comment section you’ve ever seen. But mainly, my issues have to do with how Scott handles criticism on stream. It feels like he takes every remark too personally and is almost mean to the people in chat with concerns. You hear a LOT about how it is “his money” that is funding the app and being given away as prizes. It feels really gross as a viewer. The “jokes” are mostly very inappropriate and it certainly is not a family friendly show. I tend to play with the show muted and wait as long as possible to join to miss the monologuing, as it’s not enjoyable at all. I hope things turn around, because like I said, the game itself is fun. But some things have got to change.

There are several issues here. First, the host talking in between rounds occasionally gives away the final answer by accident which then reduces my chances of being able to withdraw my money. Second, with all the time in between rounds, it makes it very easy to cheat at the game. I tried putting the words into chatGPT and after just two of the words, it was able to figure out the subtext. Given that there is money on the line, I’m guessing at least half the people are cheating. There needs to be some changes to prevent that. Third, I’m not incentivized at all to tell my friends about this game, because the more people that play, the less chance I have to win. If there was a skill based way to unlock my money, that would be different. Finally, personal preference, don’t love the host. I don’t find him entertaining and he goes on for way too long when I just want to play. 2 stars just because there’s a slim chance I can win money. But overall, I’d rather just play wordle, connections, letroso or any other daily game without taking up 30 minutes of my evening.Ok, scoring got updated to use speed. It’s better but still, 30 minutes of my evening is not worth it.Also, my winnings expiring after 30 days is some hot garbage.Tighten it up, make it harder so my chances of withdrawing money are better if I have a good night. But I think this game is a lost cause.
