What you can do on Sunslider:

- Choose who sees every post: everyone, followers, or mutuals
- Discover people through interests you tell us about, not creepy data tracking
- Notifications are off by default, so the app works on your schedule
It feels different: Sunslider doesn't boost viral content or wedge AI tools between you and your friends. No generated faces in your feed, no bots writing captions, no attention farming and influencers selling air. Just real people sharing real life.
And it's private by design: Photos and videos have location metadata stripped automatically. With no ads and minimal data collection, Sunslider is user-funded and GDPR-native, hosted entirely in the EU.

I was sick and tired of all the junk that other social media apps would constantly put in front of my face. Sunslider gives you control over what you see and really helps you connect with people you want. The app is beautiful and very smooth.
- Smoother sharing from your photo library. Took a photo and want to share it to Sunslider? Just tap Share, pick Sunslider, and you'll land right in the editor, ready to post.
- Stories are more reliable now, as we fixed a bug where stories could sometimes go missing from your feed. They're all there again, both yours and from others.
- Text overlays for slides and stories are much easier to use, with texts properly wrapping and able to be placed on the image during editing.
- Notification badges are working. The unread count now shows the real number of notifications waiting for you, so you won't miss what's new.
- Plus all the other fixes we've made lately: the fresh image editor, new invite page, and a series of small improvements.
