WHAT YOU CAN DO
Identify by photo. Take a picture of any bird you come across and get the species back. Recognition works across different angles, lighting conditions and distances, so a quick shot from across the garden is usually enough.
Identify by sound. Record a call or a song and let the audio analysis do the work. It is built to tell apart species that sound alike, which is exactly where field guides fall short.
Read the full species card. Every identification opens into scientific name, habitat preferences, migration patterns, feeding habits, breeding and nesting behaviour, and conservation status, alongside high-resolution reference photographs so you can confirm the match yourself.
Build your collection. Every bird you identify is saved. Your collection and everything you have already identified stay available without an internet connection, so the woods and the wetlands are not a problem.
Test yourself. A quiz covering bird characteristics, behaviours and habitats turns idle minutes into practice, so you start recognising species without reaching for your phone.
