SimShockDesktop is an interactive simulator that recreates critical hemodynamic situations. For iOS and macOS. Spanish, English, German, Chinese, and Japanese.
SimShockDesktop is an interactive clinical emergency simulator, designed to train and challenge your skills in managing critical hemodynamic situationsImmerse yourself in realistic hemodynamic scenarios where the patient may develop acute heart failure, massive hemorrhage or distributive shock. Make fast, precise decisions under pressure to keep them alive.
MAIN FEATURES
• Three pathological modes: heart failure, hemorrhage and sepsis/distributive shock, with parameters that change in real time according to your actions.
• 7 combinable therapies: diuretics, vasopressors, inotropes, nitrates, BIPAP and transfusion, with distinct, dose-dependent effects.
• Advanced therapies: choose antibiotic regimens according to the sepsis source, transfuse in hemorrhagic shock and defibrillate in severe arrhythmias or use BIPAP when appropriate.
• Emergency management: respond to tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, asystole and cardiac arrest with rapid interventions.
• Multiparameter monitoring: dynamic bars, animated ECG strip and respiratory waveform.
• Pace control: slow, normal or fast simulation speed.
• Adjustable difficulty: three levels that modulate realism and severity of crises.
• Professional, multilingual interface: texts and voice-over in Spanish, English, German and Chinese; native macOS menu, configurable shortcuts and resizable windows.
• Full compatibility: optimized for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and macOS (arm64).

• Red button (bottom left): switches the screen to line view.
7. Exam mode
• Exam button: starts a 10-case exam. Jumps from case to case without cure/death animations, plays a sound and shows the accumulated score.
• Restart: restarts the exam, same as the vitals monitor reset.
8. Button panel (4 rows)
• 1st row (modes): pause, language switch, difficulty, instructions and keyboard shortcuts .("?")
• 2nd row (pathological modes): Random, heart failure (low or high BP), hemorrhage and sepsis.
• 3rd row (continuous therapies): furosemide, saline, dopamine, dobutamine, nitroglycerin and noradrenaline.
• 4th row (one-shot therapies): propranolol, amiodarone, antibiotic, defibrillation, BIPAP in heart failure and ICU button (randomized survival algorithm).
