Fantastic game with a few quirks

Great game with lots of replayability. Hard but not unfair. Amazing depth of gameplay - you can go hours without repeating a build.Only negative is that there are a few conditions that can entirely end a run with little counterplay; would be nice to see some more options to deal with bad biomes, etc

Thanks! I'll work on adding more solutions to the various hazards you encounter. There are items to counter most biome effects, but of course you need luck to find the right one. Sometimes you may have to rush through levels to avoid a environment that is too dangerous for your build.

Thanks! I'll work on adding more solutions to the various hazards you encounter. There are items to counter most biome effects, but of course you need luck to find the right one. Sometimes you may have to rush through levels to avoid a environment that is too dangerous for your build.

Great base. Feels a bit like Cardinal Quest 2 with better graphics and CQ2 is an all time favorite of mine. Kills don’t get you xp though and less achievements. You don’t scale well enough. As mage I have played many many rounds. I can get to lv 15 or 16. If I get illusion I can cheese my way to level 21ish with invisibility but honestly the game isn’t fun after level 15. 4 stars though because it is very fun till that point where it becomes very frustrating.

Thanks. Cardinal Quest 2 was a big inspiration for the game. It's designed to be a challenging game with a steep difficulty curve. If you encounter certain biomes that severely affect your character, you may have to change strategy or advance quickly without exploring entire levels. I do plan to add more achievement in the future.

The difficulty ramps up sharply — enemies become much stronger, there are more traps to deal with, and it gets harder to find or buy the items you need to keep progressing. It’s still an enjoyable experience overall, but the balance could use a little tweaking to keep the later stages as fun as the beginning.
