Most spy cameras need infrared LEDs to record in the dark, and that IR light is invisible to you but not to your phone. Turn off the lights, open CamGuard's IR view, and invisible infrared shows up as a bright dot on screen. Smoke detectors, alarm clocks, air vents, chargers, mirrors, TVs: the places cameras actually get hidden.
