Who is Reverend Dr. Tezera Yared?
Reverend Dr. Tezera Yared is more than a preacher—he is a teacher, a healer, a visionary, and a spiritual father to thousands. For over 25 years, he has faithfully served the Kingdom of God, carrying the message of the Gospel with passion, boldness, and a heart full of compassion.
His journey began with a personal hunger to know God deeply and to help others move from spiritual confusion into divine clarity. From his early days of ministry, Reverend Tezera was marked by a unique grace to teach the Word of God with power and simplicity. People didn’t just hear sermons—they understood, they believed, and their lives changed.
In 2009, God gave him the vision to establish Glorious Life Church (GLC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. What began as a small congregation quickly grew into a vibrant church filled with worship, teaching, miracles, and transformed lives. Today, after 15 years, Glorious Life Church is a spiritual home to thousands—where people find hope, healing, and purpose.
But his calling didn’t stop at the walls of a church. Reverend Dr. Tezera embraced the media as a tool to spread the Gospel across borders. He launched Gospel Television and Gospel Radio, broadcasting 24/7 on Ethio Sat and online platforms. His teachings began to reach households across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. His CDs and DVDs became widely shared resources for individuals, families, and ministries hungry for truth.
In 2025, Reverend Dr. Tezera earned his Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) in Theology from Life Christian University, a recognition of his deep biblical knowledge, years of service, and commitment to equipping the body of Christ.
He has now authored over 130 teaching titles and written several books that continue to inspire believers globally. These include:
Rhema and Logos – Exploring the difference between spoken and written Word.
Thought – Teaching believers to renew their mind through Scripture.
Understanding the Love of God – A deep dive into the unconditional love of the Father.
Meditation – Unlocking the biblical secret to spiritual growth.

Reverend Dr. Tezera is not only a teacher but also a man who walks in the power of the Holy Spirit. Over the years, countless testimonies of healing, deliverance, and breakthrough have followed his meetings. His ministry is known for miracles—not just physical healing, but restoration of marriages, release from addiction, and renewed purpose in life.
At the heart of it all, Reverend Dr. Tezera remains a humble servant of God. He lives in Addis Ababa with his beloved wife, Pastor Kumnager Tefera, who co-labors with him in ministry. Together, they raise their three children—Yedidya, Yodahe, and Hilwina—in the fear and love of the Lord.
