MYMCO is the first app built to connect climbers, mountaineers, hikers, and outdoor adventurers in a smarter, more human way. Not through chance, endless group chats, trip posts or simple availability, but through real compatibility - in skills, goals, experience, mindset, and more. We’re starting with mountaineers, where the stakes are the highest, and will gradually expand to other outdoor sports.

How it works
Define who you are, what are your ambitions, and we’ll handle the rest. The more you share, the better our algorithm understands you and what you’re looking for.
1. Create your profile
Share your interests, experience, goals, portfolio, wishlist peaks/regions etc.
2. Set a destination and timeframe
Choose where and when you want to go next — from a nearby weekend trip to a future expedition. By default, MYMCO is global, so you can connect with people worldwide, but you can narrow down to a specific area and time window.
3. Get compatibility-based matches
See suggested partners ranked by how well your profiles align, not by proximity alone.
Those who share your timing, ambitions, and energy appear higher in your list. As you update your profile, your suggestions adjust too.
4. Connect & plan together
Send connection requests, chat, and start planning your next climb or trip directly in the app. Build trust before you even rope up.

MYMCO was born in the mountains - an idea that sparked on a Mont Blanc descent in 2023 and turned into a mission: to make finding the right partners safer, smarter, and more human, because going out there with people you click with has so much more to it than just going out there with people who happen to be available.
Our goal is simple: to build a trusted, global mountain community - one partnership, one climb, one story at a time. But the connection? For years.

• Chats are now organised into People and Trips tabs
• Get notified when a trip you joined changes its dates or location — and when someone joins your trip
• Fixes: followed places now update instantly after a wishlist add; group preferences on trips are now respected
