This app will be a sure hit among toddlers that love vehicles. In terms of updates I’d like to see this branch out to other mini activities that would ask for their child’s interests and show catered cards that’ll help with their vocabulary. Highly recommend this app!

Not a game, not an effective learning app

This isn't a fun game, and it's not a learning experience with any integrity. The vocabulary choices are bizarre - some simple words like "boom," but then "cement mixer," "mobile crane," "convertible," "motorcycle weaves." Who puts "weaves" in a vocab app for 3-year-olds?Good reading apps give kids control over the phonemes - letting them drag to scrub audio, highlight words as they go. This has none of that. The spoken text screens are weakly thought through. My preschooler would just randomly swipe for a bit and cast it away.I couldn't find any game element at all. Disappointing.

It is not a reading app or a game app, so you will see real vehicle words like “cement mixer” and “mobile crane.” Those are in there on purpose for kids who want to name the vehicles they see with objects they already love.You are right that some parents may want more direction. I am adding clearer parent tips on how to use the “Hear it → Stretch it → Say it” flow and how to sit and listen to the vehicle stories together, repeat the action words, and then let your child explore on their own.If you were looking for tap to highlight reading or more game style mechanics, that is a different type of app than what Little Wheels is trying to be right now. My 7 month old is loving this app. It’s never too early to play & interact with your babies and this app makes it so easy to do so. It’s fun to watch her learn so much and engage with the App and she’s starting to learn some new sounds and words.

Little fixes that make a big difference:
• Dig & Place (the construction word game) had a stuck spot — tapping
the glowing zone on "Put it ON!" didn't count. Now every round plays
through to the big finish.
• Tidied the toyroom: removed a toy chest that pointed to an old,
retired corner of the app.
• The grown-ups area now always opens full-screen — no more half-size
screen after the free week.
• Link to new app for bedtime, Sleepy Train, now says hello in the
grown-ups corner.
