Within is a journaling based app providing a space of introspection for those curious to learn more about their self. Within reflects your entries back to you: the emotions that keep showing up, how they shift week to week, and the themes quietly threading through your life.
Each day, Within offers a single introspective question, a quiet prompt to notice where you actually are and there are two methods of reflecting. A quick reflection that takes seconds: tap how you're feeling, set how strong it is, add a brief description if you want. Over time these small moments become a real picture. Or capture a full entry by writing, talking, adding photos, or drawing.
See what's within. Private by design. Your entries, photos, and reflections are encrypted on your device before anything is stored. Meaning, no one can read your complete entry but you.
Within is a tool for personal reflection. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

- A simplified Home Menu, organized to help optimize setting preferences, sharing, and selecting your journaling information.
- Widgets: add Today’s Question to your home screen or lock screen. It shows each day’s question automatically.
- Recovery Kit. A simple one-page backup in Settings that can restore your journal if you ever lose your devices.
- Linked sign-ins. Connect your Apple and Google sign-ins in Settings so either one opens the same journal. Within also warns you before a new sign-in accidentally starts a second journal.
- Daily question history. Browse every question you've been asked, not just today's.
- Improved search for key topics in your previous journal entries.
