A new detail view: tap an image to see it large, on a background that takes on its colors. From there, open the link, move it to another category, share it, or search for similar items.

Widgets look and behave better. Quick Capture widgets now share the dark paper background of the dictation panel in both light and dark mode, and their labels line up neatly from one action to the next. Recent Pins stays legible when your Home Screen uses tinted icons. Your widgets now refresh as soon as you save something from the share sheet or from an AI assistant connected to Pinpin, and when changes sync from your other devices over iCloud.

Version 3.0: New Note widget: your latest note on the Home Screen, in its paper color and the app's typography, in medium, large and extra large sizes. Tap it to edit the note. Widgets are now configurable: long press one, choose Edit Widget, then pick a specific note to keep on screen, or show Recent Pins from a single category. Fixed a photo opened from a widget hiding its close button under the status bar, and a note reopening when tapped from a widget while already open. Notes in the grid now respond to a tap like every other tile.

Version 2.9: New Recent Pins widget: your latest pins on the Home Screen, in large and extra large sizes, laid out like the app's grid.

• Export your whole collection as a zip file, and import it back on any device. • Photos now open full screen with a smooth zoom transition. • A category capsule now floats above the grid: tap it to open the menu. • Categories can be reordered and renamed in a full-width edit mode. • A note emptied in the editor is now deleted instead of keeping its old text. • Fixed the caret jumping and a quickly reopened note showing the previous note's text. • Search Similar is more reliable: images are now hosted on our own server.

Capture without opening the app • Widgets: dictate a note or take a photo in one tap from your Home Screen or Lock Screen. The Quick Capture widget puts every action side by side. • Action button and Control Center: add the Dictate control, press to start a voice note, press again to stop and save. • Camera: take a photo straight from the + menu. • Dictation now stops by itself after a few seconds of silence, or when you leave the app, and keeps what you said. Also in this update • Drop text or Markdown files on the grid to turn them into notes (iPad and Mac). • Various fixes.
