Most event apps only really work for things you plan weeks ahead. Concerts, conferences, someone's wedding. Thirdspot does those too, but it also handles the smaller stuff that never makes it into an app at all.
You're going thrifting in an hour and wouldn't mind company. The game's on at 3 and you'd rather not watch it alone. You're putting together a proper dinner next Saturday and need to know who's in.
You post it, people see it, some of them come.
It's not a dating app and it isn't built around one scene. The people you meet on here are people who happened to be up for the same thing as you, which is honestly how most friendships start anyway.
What you can do:
Post something you're up for, now or weeks out. Takes about thirty seconds. Keep it free or sell tickets.
Browse a map or a list of what's near you. You set the distance and the kinds of things you care about, so you're not scrolling past stuff you'd never go to.
Every event has a shared disposable camera. Photos stay hidden while it's happening and all develop together once it's over. We did it that way so people aren't on their phones the whole time.
Anyone who joins an event lands in the group chat for it automatically.
There's no feed, no follower count and no likes. We didn't want to build another app you scroll.
Free to use. Hosts can charge for their own tickets if they want to.
