A quiet space for modern ideas in art, design, architecture, and photography—built for reflection and spatial exploration. A Space for Modern Ideas Mix Modern Museum is a non-profit project designed for the era of spatial computing. It invites visitors to explore modern ideas in art, architecture, design, and photography through immersive exhibitions centered on intention and reflection. There are no ads, no scores, no distractions—just space to pause, observe, and connect. Now Showing Modernity in Progress A spatial journey through the lens of Marcel Gautherot, documenting the making of Brasília and the ideals that shaped Brazil’s modernist project. This exhibition invites reflection on labor, legacy, and the architecture of a better future—tracing modernism’s ambitions across images and time. Interaction - Visitors navigate a continuous spatial environment composed of clustered exhibition sections. - A central light panel allows users to illuminate specific areas, revealing visual narratives through controlled lighting. - Ambient spatial audio shapes the atmosphere of each section, subtly guiding attention and pace. - Users can tap floor tiles to teleport between scenes, moving fluidly across the exhibition without interruption. - The environment is defined by soft motion, atmospheric textures, and a quiet interplay of form and light. Principles Mix Modern is built as an ad-free, distraction-free experience. Each exhibition is self-paced, accessible, and respectful of attention. The environment adapts to its content through elemental materials, neutral tones, and modular layouts inspired by industrial design. About the Project This is an independent, non-commercial research initiative. Mix Modern explores intentional interaction in spatial computing—focused on thoughtful exhibition design and digital curation. Every exhibition offers a chance to revisit the visions that shaped modernity—and explore how they continue to evolve, challenge, and inspire. --- Photo Credits Acervo Instituto Moreira Salles Marcel Gautherot / Pierre Verger Leticia Ranzani (Coordinator) Music Credits Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy Performed by Simone Renzi CC BY-NC 3.0 – musopen.org
