This update adds sound and haptic feedback and makes it easier to practice any character. - Hear a short sound and feel a light haptic when you get a self-check result or a quiz answer, and when you finish a story or a Conversation. The sound stays off when your iPad is on silent. Turn it off in Settings under Sounds and haptics. - Enter character in Practice now shows the characters you saved most recently. Type a word to pick one of its characters. - Search an HSK set with a word to find each of its characters. When nothing matches, Enter character opens your search so you can practice it anyway. - HSK sets fit more characters on each row, and the search stays at the top while you scroll. - Screens no longer jump as they open, and scrolled content no longer shows behind the top bar.

Strokie 3.0 has a fresh new look across the whole app. - Today shows your day as a simple path with a goal of three tasks, next to your streak and this week's activity. - Below the path, Today lists characters to practice next, starting with the ones you missed in your last quiz. - Character practice is easier to follow: trace the guides, then write the character yourself in the empty squares. The stroke order sits right under the board. - Stories have a translation panel. It follows the line you are writing and shows its meaning, Pinyin when available, and audio. - Conversations now show the word's Pinyin next to it. - Quiz results are clearer. Practice misses gives each missed character squares to trace and squares to write on your own. - Practice shows your next new character and how many characters you have saved in each HSK set. - Settings is simpler, and you can pick your reminder time on a time wheel or tap Morning, Lunch, Evening, or Night. Everything you had comes with you: learned characters, finished stories and Conversations, saved handwriting, drafts, your streak, settings, and Pro. The first time you open the app after the update, it takes a moment to bring your progress over.
