In terms of the quality of work it does, it is by far the best. If you are having a conversation with AI, it saves you a ton of time because you don't have to worry about crafting and wording things perfectly. It does a great job with punctuation, adding air quotes even, and getting great inference from how you say things. It is much better than WhisprFlow, which is more focused on writing down exactly what you said. In contrast, this app takes what you said and says it a lot better. You can give it unsorted, rougher thoughts and still get a clean output. If you use other voice dictation apps, I think they're a little more stable. This one could use a few bug fixes on the whole "swipe to get to it" interaction. Sometimes, being able to get to the keyboard and keeping the voice interface active is a bit difficult. It is also super frustrating when you say something really long and it ends recording on you early.
Fixes needed but still great

So, it just needs to be a little bit more careful with the way the AI works. I just got it yesterday and I've been using it nonstop because it is way better than voice-to-text, but there are times it goes a little overboard. For instance, I was just leaving a comment on Instagram, and it kept putting big spaces in between paragraphs. Then it made another space at the end and just said, "Thank you for watching," which is way overkill since I didn't make a video. I'm just leaving a comment, like, what the hell? There are a lot of little weird quirks it has like that where it's totally unnecessary. Also, I was writing a descriptive word for a music industry conversation I was having. We use the term "hot" a lot to mean something is too loud, and it was changing that to "long." Obviously, I am not trying to say "long." I kept trying to delete the word "long" and say "hot," and it just kept changing it back to "long." I finally had to go into another setting they have where you can edit that word specifically, and then it finally let me do it. There are a lot of little quirks like this, and it definitely needs to step up a little bit more. I would still give it a 4/5. This is my second comment because, all in all, 90% of it is great. It still makes life faster and it saves me time.
How I Dictated 8,000 Words in 49 Minutes at 243 WPM
Keegan.rose
I'm using Typeless right now while saying this, which is honestly the best proof I could give. I dictated 8,000 words in 49 minutes (at 243 words per minute) and saved over 4 hours. That is absurd. Most tools claim they can help you move faster, but this is one of the first ones where the bottleneck is actually gone. Typing slows me down, kills momentum, and makes me lose parts of the thought before they ever make it onto the screen. Typeless fixes that in a way that is immediately obvious the second you use it.I can just talk, keep going, and actually get the full idea out while it's still alive. It feels less like typing and more like finally letting my brain operate at speed. If your thoughts are faster than your hands, this is not a small upgrade; it is a completely better way to work.
Took 1 Minute to Learn Now I’m Hooked
KattyKoala
I’ve tried a few AI voice dictation tools before, but Typeless is the first one that actually stuck. It took me maybe a minute to get used to. After that, I was hooked. What really makes it stand out is that it’s not just dictation. It actually helps think with you. I can talk through messy ideas, and it turns them into clean, structured writing. It removes filler words, trims repetition, and improves the flow in a way that still sounds like me—just more organized and intentional. It’s been especially helpful for longer documents. Instead of staring at a blank page or getting stuck editing the same paragraph over and over, I just speak my thoughts out loud and let the app shape them into something coherent. It saves a surprising amount of time and mental energy. The whole experience feels seamless—no lag, no awkward formatting issues, no fighting the tool.If you do any kind of writing (notes, drafts, brainstorming, even just organizing your thoughts), this is 100% worth trying.
Introducing Swipe-to-type
Now, when you need a quick edit, punctuation, or a few typed characters, you can swipe to bring in a standard keyboard without leaving the Typeless experience.
- Swipe to type: Move seamlessly between speaking and typing, so you can dictate your thoughts and make small edits in one smooth workflow.
- Smarter suggestions: Word suggestions get smarter as you use them, helping quick edits become faster over time.
- 36 languages supported: Add the keyboards you need in App Settings, then swipe between them whenever you need to type.
This new feature gives you more control for the small moments when typing is faster, while keeping voice at the center of Typeless.
