Log your speed, vertical, and days on snow, share season highlights, and discover new friends at your skill level. Safety & Age Restrictions Shredder is committed to providing a safe environment for all users. Shredder explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and enforces strict safety standards to protect minors on the platform. Users under the age of 18 are allowed to create an account in Shredder, but their experience is strictly limited to non-social features only, including: Activity tracking (speed, distance, vertical, days on snow) Weather conditions and mountain data Personal stats and session history Users under 18 do not have access to any social features, including profiles, matching, messaging, community feeds, events, or carpooling. I am loving this app and excited for the future features coming!!!! I use apps for tracking runs but this app takes it further and lets me connect with others. I tend to go alone when my normal snowboard buddies can’t go but this app helped me find and expand my group for snowboarding. Love it so far!!!! The team is also super quick to respond, act, and fix any minor bugs or issues I find. Super awesome to be apart of this community!!!

I have had this app for about 9 months now, and there have been no improvements that I was expecting. It’s not possible to connect with other people if you don’t have the premium membership which is something the app does not mention. You can like as many people as you want but it won’t matter because you don’t have the premium membership. I really thought this app would takeoff but it’s been pretty disappointing so far. Also matching with other people location is so hard. I set my home mountain as mammoth ski resort and all i see is people from alta ski resort or brighton ski resort. Overall needs so much more improvement.

Hi there,I hear you. In some cases it really does end up being a bit of a skill issue with matching, simply because Shredder is still new and growing its rider base in different regions. When there aren’t many local riders yet, it can feel like no one is connecting. We’re working on this and improving the system so everyone gets connected with people near them without needing to pay.You can still match without a subscription, but the paid option shows who already liked you. We’re actively improving the free experience and rolling out updates every week to make connections easier and more consistent.Thanks for sticking with it and sharing your feedback.

Already blowing up the group chat for opening weekend…Sheddar is my pre-season ski app. The daily stats are on point (log days, totals, and quick notes), level based matching actually pairs me with people who ride my speed/terrain, and the events tab makes easy to spot meetups. The app runs super smooth, looks slick, and the updates keep making better….Zero crashes for me. Locked on my home screen for winter.

Shredder advertises very different things to different people, and that’s a major red flag. My girlfriend downloaded it because it was advertised to her strictly as a social stats app, nothing about dating. After installing it, she realized it functioned much more like a dating app and deleted it shortly after.Months later, a friend of mine who lives across the country saw her Shredder profile with her face advertised to him on TikTok without her knowledge or consent. She had no idea her profile was still circulating or being promoted.Maybe this is buried somewhere in the terms and conditions, but it is absolutely not made clear during signup or advertising. Users should be explicitly warned that their profile may be widely promoted across platforms and shown to people they do not know.If you care about privacy or transparency, proceed with extreme caution. What this app claims to be depends entirely on who you are. And that alone should make people think twice.
