Really good app but some function is missing

I gave a four starts to the app not because I don’t like it but because there is some functionality that is missing. In particular, searching for music is incomplete. When I search for an artist I would expect the entire catalo available on, let’s say Apple Music to appear for display. If I search for an album, I want the entire album not just a list of songs belonging to the album or just the song that bears the albums name.Anyway, this is a great daily companion during work and I just think it needs to be continue develop further. To be fair, the app has received multiple updates and upgrades since I bought it a long while ago and it gets better and better every time.

You must know that the results are picked by „some logic“ from Sonos and also vary by streaming service (e.g. Apple Music mainly returns individual songs, Spotify is morelikely to return albums and playlists, etc.) which I already try to filter/present more usefully in the app. I‘ll take a look at this again to see what else I could do to present the search results the way you‘d expect.Best regards,Dominik

I am happy to report that this update is the best so far and really happy that it overall works much better. We have had our many speakers for a few years and they get used every day which the controller is a vidill part of the operation. So it has been ok in the past bust several issues and feel that this was well thought out, especially with some of us who have invested a lot on this brand. Plus I promote this brand a lot and have over the years, so when I give a thumbs up it means something.

I’m still a rather new user of this app, so all I’ve experienced so far is a feeling of respect for this developer for creating an app that appears to do everything the original Sonos app for Macs could, only MBC is so much more responsive and convenient. I purchased the lifetime license (good for up to 5 users) and am especially grateful for the developer’s Lifetime licensing policy). Now my wife can install this app on her own MacBook Air.

I downloaded the app and used it for trial period. I really liked it however, when trying to make the in app purchase it will never take me to an actual purchase site to make the transaction. It just says the purchase will come from my account email I set up. That never happens and then it’s stuck in my menu bar as trial version and only allows you to pause and start the Sonos. I had to shut down and then restart to be able to dump the app into he trash and delete it. I think there is something wrong with the link to make at the purchase. It was fun while on the trail.
This update fixes the crash when opening the music window on macOS 27 Golden Gate related to the queue panel. The search filter now includes your Music Library, and the top result shows which service it comes from.
