If your live station goes quiet, you now see the nearest station that is still reporting, with a note in the live chart. Your own station comes back by itself. Weather and rain values in the forecast table are updated. Share this SurfSignal now sends just the image, so you write your own words.

Adding a partner's spots is easier: after you add one, SurfSignal offers that partner's other spots so you can add them one by one. Plus small fixes and a cleaner look.

A refreshed Settings screen that's easier to find your way around, plus bug fixes.

Small UI updates and bug fixes.

Pick what each spot shows with the new "Adjust view" option, to be found in each spot's menu, and share a cleaner snapshot of your day straight from the spot title row whenever you expand a day. The FAQ and About now live in Settings, and the main menu is fixed again.

Small improvements.

The FAQ now covers the Partner program in full: what it gives schools, clubs and shops, and how to set it up. Plus small performance improvements.

Updated: the forecast table now adjusts to your screen size (especially useful on bigger devices). Also some performance improvements have been made.

The default Relevant hours range is now 7:00 - 21:00, matching how most users set it. If you already changed this setting, your range stays exactly as it was. If not, it has been updated for you.

SurfSignal now speaks 9 more languages: German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Danish, Swedish, Polish and Hungarian. The app follows your phone language, and your daily signal arrives in it too. Plus small fixes.

The FAQ has been updated with more information on the weather models. Furthermore some small UI changes.

New: tap the locate button on the map to centre it on where you are. SurfSignal only asks for your location when you tap that button, uses an approximate position, and never sends it anywhere.

New: plan your next session in the Agenda tab and sync it directly to your personal calendar. Updated: the menu is now updated when expanding and closing a day tile - your toggles appear in the main menu, and disappear again when closing the menu.

Small UI improvements and performance upgrades.

You can now view your own spots on the map. The Info and FAQ sections have been updated with relevant information about how SurfSignal works. The Settings page has also been visually refined, and the partner sign-up flow has been improved.

When you expand a day, you can now toggle the weather and wave data on or off and choose whether to display the graphs. This gives you a clearer overview.

- If you opened the app after ten days of inactivity, the spot alerts showed an "offline" message briefly. Now, its immediately clear that your alerts are being fetched. - The tooltips have been optimized such that you can see exactly what time you are scrolling, indicated by the "line" in the graph

The Live column can now also show wind values when gust data is missing. Previously, the graph would not display wind at all in that case. This is especially relevant for Portugal, which now also includes live station data.

New: scroll over the live graph and the wind direction arrow moves along Bugfix: the match status on the now column was not always correctly evaluated due to daytime/nighttime filters

- The Live Wind graph has been updated. If you tap the graph, the wind arrow will move along when dragging, showing the live measurement and the forecast - The readability for longer conditionset titles has been improved - The live column indicator is now bright blue when there is "live" data (less than 30 minutes old). For stations with longer intervals (more then 30 minutes), the "live" indicator will be a dark blue color. - Also, if the last station reading was more than 30 min ago, the labels were also removed. Now they remain visible.

Sharing a moment / match has been updated! After expanding a a day tile, the share button appears. The layout of the share screen has been optimized to now also include the QR code of your spot, so anyone you send it too can download your spot configuration.
