It records your trips and your stops in the background — no timer to start, no destinations to remember, no history to reconstruct from old photos. AUTOMATIC TRIP AND STOP DETECTION Journory recognises when a journey begins, finds the stops along the way and detects how you travelled — all while the app stays closed. Your timeline grows on its own, simply because you went somewhere. YOUR PERSONAL TRAVEL MAP Every trip, every country and every stop on one map. Look back at a single journey, or watch years of travel take shape at a glance. TRAVEL TIMELINE AND DIARY Review each detected journey and correct or reorganise it whenever you like. Add photos, notes, transport and memories, and an automatically recorded trip becomes a diary worth rereading. Photos are matched to the right place and moment for you, and the weather of that day is saved along with them. DIGITAL TRAVEL PASSPORT Every country you visit earns its stamp. Build a digital passport that shows where you have been at a single glance. WUNDERKAMMER Collect the remarkable things you find along the way: lighthouses, waterfalls, castles, volcanoes, landmarks and landscapes. Your Wunderkammer becomes a personal cabinet of the places that made your journeys special. BIRDY, YOUR TRAVEL BUDDY Birdy comes along on every journey and grows with the stops you collect. Between trips Birdy lives in the Atelier — a room you furnish yourself with furniture, frames and a pinboard, unlocking new colours and gear the further you travel. Friends may visit. Your photos stay yours. TRAVEL WITH FRIENDS Follow your friends' journeys and share your own, with privacy you decide trip by trip. STATS, QUIZZES AND GAMES See your distance, days on the road, countries and travel type in numbers. Then test your flag and country knowledge and challenge your friends. FOUR WORLDS, LIGHT OR DARK Standard, Underwater, Space or Jungle — choose the look that suits you, in light or dark mode. YOUR JOURNEYS, YOUR CONTROL Review, edit or delete any detected trip at any time. Mark the places you visit every day as no-go zones so they never reach your timeline. Automatic tracking can be switched off whenever you want, and trips can always be added by hand. Journory works offline: your data lives on your device and syncs later. WHY DOES JOURNORY USE BACKGROUND LOCATION? Background location and motion data let Journory detect trips and stops while the app is not in use — for example while your phone is in your pocket during a journey. Without background access, automatic trip detection cannot work reliably. You can disable background tracking at any time in Journory or in your device settings, and manual trip entry always remains available. Start building the travel history you will want to remember. Trips from photos • The import is much faster – even without an account. • While saving you now see photos, weather and a comment from Birdy. • Each trip in the results shows two pictures. Video editor • Opens right away, the remaining photos load in the background. Fixed • Stops sometimes ended up in the middle of the Atlantic. • Photos from the southern and western hemisphere were placed wrong.
