The original Focus Tomato earned 4.9/5.0 with 26,000+ reviews worldwide and was featured by Apple multiple times. Focus Tomato 2 keeps the same spirit, now with focus tags, iCloud sync, and richer statistics.
Focus Tomato 2 wants you to stay focused without feeling pressured - to handle the real grind of life and keep going for the long haul. Get things done with a bit of grace, close the timer, and enjoy the rest of your day.

Q: Studying as much as everyone else, but always falling behind?
A: Let Focus Tomato handle your time management.
The pomodoro technique has been tested for 40+ years - used right, it helps you focus, cut distractions, beat procrastination, and build a habit that actually sticks. Simple is best.
Q: Always start strong, then fizzle out after a few days?
A: The pomodoro technique uses 25 minutes of focus + 5 minutes of rest, repeated 4 times, followed by a longer 15-30 minute break.
Pushing too hard for too long just burns you out. Like a marathon runner, pacing yourself is what lets you go the distance.
Q: Trying to learn something on the side, but can't keep at it?
A: Focus Tomato encourages you to set aside dedicated time for long-term goals, and tag each session clearly.
Tags like "Content Creation," "Learning Design," or "Exam Prep" help you keep all related sessions in one place - whether you're watching a course, editing video, or studying. A pomodoro or two a day adds up over time, instead of getting eaten by random tasks.

Core Features
1. No forced interruptions - protect your flow
Most pomodoro apps cut you off mid-work. Focus Tomato just reminds you when time's up, and lets you keep going if you're in the zone.
2. Editable timeline - fix it later
Forgot to stop the timer? You can manually log or edit any session, so your stats stay accurate.
3. Custom tags for clear categorization
Tag each focus session - like "Study," "Side Hustle," or "Creative" - and review where your time actually goes.
4. Breaks are timed too - for better pacing
Rest isn't blank space. Track your breaks, see your real rhythm, and plan accordingly.
5. Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and Home Screen widgets
Don't unlock, don't open the app - just glance. See how much time is left, and how many tomatoes you've earned today, right from your Home Screen.

"Beautiful pomodoro app!"
I've tried several pomodoro apps, and most are too serious or too formal. This one has personality - the tomato face is priceless.

First, an apology
The "iCloud Sync" status display in earlier versions had a serious bug — it wasn't actually reading the system's CloudKit state, so even when sync had failed, the UI could still appear normal. This caused some users to lose data silently without ever knowing, and we're truly sorry for the trust this broke.
This update is a complete rebuild of iCloud sync:
Real sync status
- Reads CloudKit events directly from the system — what you see is what's actually happening
- Shows Uploading / Downloading / Success / Failed, plus last sync time
- On failure, the system's actual error message is shown
Better self-diagnosis
- New "Data not syncing?" help page based on Apple's official guidance, with common causes and check steps
- One tap to jump to iOS iCloud settings when sync fails
- Sync status is automatically included when you email support, so we can help faster
Now visible to everyone
- The sync status was previously visible only to Tomato King users — it's now visible to all. Sync itself was always working for everyone; hiding the status didn't make sense.
Also fixed the alert sound
The "Enable Alert Sound" default was inconsistent across views — some screens had it off, leading new users to think the timer had no sound. The default is now always on (existing users' preferences are unchanged).
- New "No sound when timer ends?" help page (Settings → Sound Settings)
- Explains how the alert behaves differently in foreground vs. background
- Lists common causes of "no sound" (device volume, Do Not Disturb, notification permissions, etc.)
Thanks to everyone who patiently reported this
