JianYi works well for exam preparation, language learning, professional skills, and everyday knowledge management. Core flashcard and review features work without an account. AI features connect to an online service only when you choose to use them.
Most flashcard apps make me spend more time organizing than actually studying. With Anki, I just add a card, tag it, and let the review schedule bring it back at the right time. I mainly use it for English vocabulary, and the Again/Good/Easy choices keep each session quick. The AI explanations are useful when a card needs more context too. I just wish adding multiple cards at once were a little faster.
JianYi now has a consistent international brand across the App Store and the installed app.
This update adds localized app names for English and Simplified Chinese, refreshes onboarding and About content, and keeps the experience consistent across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
It also includes sync safety, Markdown editing, tag selection, and card ordering improvements.
