Rockup is the local messenger. An app to solve any local problem together with your neighbors. Rockup connects you to the people around you — the ones who live on your floor, your street, your block. Not through posts or feeds, but through live chats tied to where you actually are. Suspicious activity outside? A neighbor already flagged it. Power outage? Your building chat has the safety alert before the utility company does. Strange noise at 2 AM? You're not the only one who heard it. How it works Rockup creates group chats around real locations — your building, your street, your neighborhood. Step into an area, you're in the chat. Leave, and you're out. No setup, no invites, no friend requests. What neighbors use it for - Flagging suspicious activity so others stay alert - Checking if something unusual is just them or the whole block - Getting real-time updates during outages, floods, fires or emergencies - Keeping an eye on the street together — especially after dark Why it works The people most useful to you in a moment of uncertainty are the ones standing closest. Not a search engine, not a city page updated last Tuesday — the person three doors down who can see the same thing you can. No profiles. No followers. No feed. Just a direct line to the people around you, right when it matters.
