Real-Time Data at a Glance: See the current temperature from your PWS displayed right in your macOS menu bar. A quick click reveals a full dropdown menu with a wealth of additional data.
Comprehensive Weather Metrics: The menu provides a detailed view of your personal weather conditions, including:
Temperature: Current outdoor temperature with an emoji that reflects the conditions.
Rainfall: Daily rainfall amount.
Wind Speed & Direction: Current wind speed and gust, along with a compass direction.
Barometric Pressure: The relative pressure reading from your station.
Dew Point & Humidity: See the moisture levels with both dew point and humidity percentage.
Monitor Up to Two Locations: Do you have more than one Ecowitt PWS? The app supports monitoring two separate weather stations simultaneously. Each location has its own customizable settings.
Customizable Location Labels: Easily label each weather station (e.g., "Home," "Cabin," "Office") to quickly identify which data you're viewing.
Configurable Refresh Interval: You're in control of how often the app fetches new data. Set the refresh interval to a minimum of 60 seconds to ensure your data is always up-to-date.
Metric and Imperial Units: Seamlessly switch between imperial (ºF, in, mph) and metric (ºC, mm, km/h, hPa) units to suit your preference.
Last Updated Timestamp: Each location's data includes a timestamp to let you know exactly when the last successful update occurred.
How It Works:
To get started, you will need to create an API Key and an Application Key from your personal Ecowitt Personal Weather Station under your profile on the Ecowitt website. Simply enter these keys, along with your PWS's MAC Address, into the app's settings. Once configured, your weather data will automatically appear in your menu bar.
