WHAT'S NEW IN 3.0 Real tiles. Every tile is now a solid block, rendered in 3D and colored by the game. Shapes are whole pieces, and finished rows shade from deep to light blue down the board. The Daily grows through the week. 4x4 Monday to Wednesday, 5x5 Thursday and Friday, 6x6 on the weekend. Everyone gets the same board, with a countdown to the next one and a streak for solving them in a row. Color Assist. A new setting that keeps tile colors apart for red-green and blue-yellow color blindness, with a texture on each Colors row. Plus a fresh menu, clearer power-ups, and a fix for best scores.

Fixes and polish for the Daily and the main menu. - The Daily can no longer trap you. If a locked row seals tiles away from where they belong, the game tells you and lets you give up, recording the day as unfinished so you can practice the board freely. - The Daily timer no longer runs behind the Give Up dialog, and your time is kept if you leave mid-board. - Free play pausing is more accurate. - Game screens and the main menu now fit on smaller phones and with larger text.

Tablet and large screen support GridZen 2 now rotates with your tablet and uses the full screen, rather than running in a narrow column with empty space on either side. The game screen has been rebuilt for larger displays, so the board scales to the space available and the controls stay clear of the edges in both orientations. Phones continue to play in portrait, just as before.

Daily puzzles are here. Every day brings one new Numbers 4x4 board, and every player gets the same one. Solve it in as few moves as you can, then share your result without giving anything away. Your progress is saved if you need to step away, and once you are done you can replay the same board as unranked practice. Also new: a Contact Us option on the menu, so you can reach us directly if something is not right.

New: a Sounds toggle, so you can turn the win and lose effects off without silencing the music. The menu wording is plainer too. Fixed a rare bug that could leave a board unsolvable. Fixed the win confetti, which stalled partway down. Move counts and times are recorded accurately now, ads fit the screen properly, and purchases and restores are steadier. Thanks for playing.
