Connect three ways: Open WebUI, direct model APIs, or Hermes agents. Native streaming chat, voice, widgets, and private on-device storage.
Conduit is a native mobile client for Open WebUI, direct model endpoints, and self-hosted agents. Your chats live on your device first. Nothing routes through a backend the maintainer operates.
Three ways to connect
- Open WebUI — your self-hosted server with chats, folders, notes, channels, workspace, tools, web search, and image generation
- Direct — OpenAI-compatible APIs, Ollama, OpenRouter, and local endpoints. No Open WebUI account required
- Hermes — your self-hosted agent with live tools, approvals for sensitive steps, and scheduled work
Built for mobile
- Real-time streaming chat with model selection, temporary chats, search, and folders
- File, image, audio, and clipboard uploads for multimodal prompts
- Voice input, voice-call mode, share sheet, quick actions, home screen widgets, and Shortcuts
- Rich rendering for Markdown, code, LaTeX, Mermaid, Chart.js, citations, reasoning, and tool calls
- Notes, saved prompts, channels, terminal, and other features when your server supports them
Built for real deployments
- Sign in with username/password, LDAP, JWT, OAuth/SSO, reverse-proxy flows, and custom HTTP headers
- Credentials stored securely in Keychain
- No ads, no analytics SDKs, and no developer-operated relay server
Important
- Conduit does not host models or provide an AI service. You connect to servers and providers you control.
- Available features depend on what you connect to.
- Conduit is open source and is not officially affiliated with Open WebUI or Hermes.
The app itself is very simple and clean to use. A lot of the features or options in OWUI are missing (as expected) but I do wish there was at least an option to add a system prompt (like in OWUI). Slash prompts are okay but system prompts seem a lot more effective as they are pinned and cannot be overridden. I’d give the app a 5 if the feature was there. But until then I might stick to using OWUI as a web app instead.
Developer Response
You now add/update system prompts right from the app. Please upgrade :)
Great app, only missing a bit QoL feature

This is much better tha the default PWA version. Tool calling works, and the theme customization is a very nice feature. However, there are no action function buttons in this version, and markdown table on this app also doesn’t have line wrap just like the WPA version. If the author can add these then the app is a clear 5/5 for me
Awesome app

This is a great and easy companion app for OWUI. Originally I thought it was released by the OWUI team. But the developer took effort to make this app easy to use. Hope to see more features added to the app in the future. Already you can do web search, knowledge base query and mcp tool connect. I hope he can somehow make this to be like a local ai agent where I can send queries to the app and be more like an assistant.
This is the one

What a great and beautiful app. I have been searching for an app that would act as a mobile front end for Hermes and this IS IT!! I did not feel comfortable using Telegram, Slack or others for Hermes. I wanted to keep my infrastructure contained. This was worth the money and I’m very happy. Will be donating here and there too, so this project stays alive.Great work dev
